👉 Quality: Colostrum with high immunoglobulins content, tested with a refractometer, guarantees optimal protection.
👉 Quantity: 4 liters at first feeding to meet the calf's needs.
👉 Quickness: Administering colostrum within the first 2 hours of life maximizes antibody absorption.
👉 sQueaky clean: No more than 100,000 CFU/mL to reduce risks.
👉 Quantifying: Ideally, 15g/L of IgG in the calf's serum for a successful immunity transfer.
